Located at the end of 38th Ave. South. Cranbrook BC
Make your way South of Cranbrook along Gold Creek road. Then, turn South down 38th Avenue South and drive to the end where you'll find a yellow forestry gate, trail map, and parking area.
In order to allow for emergency vehicle access, please park in the dedicated parking area across the cattle guard at the end of 38th Ave

We're lucky to share these amazing trails in our backyards and we encourage users to respect each other as well as the environment. With that in mind, please familiarize yourself with the following usage guidelines before heading out on your next adventure at South Star Trails.
South Star Trails offer a variety of mountain bike trails that vary from easy to challenging.
NOn MOtorized Use ONLY
The use of motorized vehicles is prohibited with any part of the South Star Trails.

USE DESIGNATED DOG TRAILS IN THE WINTER
Please clean up after your dog in all seasons. There is a garbage can at the trailhead for disposals.
Hiking and Snowshoeing
All trails are open to hiking in the spring, summer and fall. Designated snowshoe trails are available in the winter.
Safety & Hunting
Do not discharge firearms, bows, crossbows or set traps
Do not leave game entrails on the site
Do not discharge fireworks
Cross Country ski trails are groomed for skiing in the wintertime. Horse riding is not permitted on these groomed ski trails, but riding is permitted on the Joseph Creek Road.
Horses are welcome on all trails once the cross country ski season is over.
